Have you ever met a woman who just RADIATED beauty? Not necessarily because she looked the girliest, or she had a perfect body. Feminine energy actually has nothing to do with how “womanly” you look.
We live in a world of Universal Principles and these principles – energies – directly reflect our life. I am a firm believer that our current society has become mostly dominant in masculine energy. Do you agree? Although BOTH energies are equally important….I think we are leaning more towards energies that reflect aggression, action, & assertiveness. Yes…I am raising my hand here too….totally guilty.
If you find you are in the same space as me…hustling and hustling down your to-do list everyday & stuck on the masculine energy scale, here are some easy and actionable ways to start activating your feminine energy. When we have balanced our masculine and feminine energies, we have more inner peace, we treat people fairly, our friendships and relationships thrive, and we are in a place where we are respecting ourselves, our bodies, and others.
Stop being so competitive.
Seems like common sense right? We compete against our siblings, our parents, our peers, our friends all the time. Probably not even realizing. Who is going to get married first? Who is going to get published first? Who is going to get a raise at their job first? Who is going to buy a two story home?
Taking the time to congratulate each other and really be happy for others, makes both parties feel good. It’s also an amazing way to step into your feminine energy because feminine energy is playful & group oriented, not competitive.
Let go of past judgement.
I’m extremely guilty of looking into the past at things I wasn’t exactly proud of . When Chris and I bought our home, we made several naive mistakes, including blindly signing a contract for a water treatment system that costed $7,000. We’re still paying on it to this day. Little things like that can start bogging you down.
Live in the present. Try meditation or positive affirmations. Take the time to take in the journey you’re on right now.
Stop mistreating your body.
We should be taking the same amount of time we put into preparing our kids lunches as we do our own.
Respect your body. Exercise. Give your self time for the sleep you need. Eat good foods.
Stop living life so fast.
Have you ever been around someone who is in a hurry, or running late? When’s the last time you felt calm or at peace around them? Never.
Be someone who puts others at ease. Enjoy the day. Others will feel more calm around you and want to be in your company.
Those are just a few ways you can take immediate steps to balancing your energy if you find yourself leaning on the masculine side of things. Let me know what you think and other things you think could help. These may seem insignificant but if these simple little reminders have helped me, I know they will benefit someone else too.
